I Never Said
You get it because you earned it, not because you deserve it.
I never said it would be easy. I said it would be worth it.
The street of trust, has two directions on purpose.
I never said it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
All loses are lessons, never see them as worthless.
I never said it would be easy. I said it would be worth it.
Be tougher underneath, than what is seen on the surface.
I never said it be easy. I said it would be worth it.
The honesty policy, can cause pain if you heard it.
I never said it would be easy. I said it would be worth it.
Faith defeats fear, when hard work is the purpose.
I never said it would be easy. I said it would be worth it.
Speak it into existence, with full belief when you word it.
I never said it would be easy. I said it would be worth it.
Fight against the odds, only you can usurp it.
I never said it would be easy. I said it would be worth it.
One key to success, is criticism if you can nerve it.
I never said it would be easy. I said it would be worth it.
Say it with conviction, shoot it straight, never curve it.
I never said it would be easy. I said it would be worth it.

Knowledge Drop (Not to Self)
Note to Self
Attraction is a strange thing.
One cannot help what attracts them. It may come from something by sight. By
sound. Or even by smell. We simply never know what draws us. But the thought of such
a person, place or thing, has trouble leaving our memory banks. Thus sparking
an unyielding desire. That is an attraction in which is out of our control.
What about the attraction we can control? The counter balance. The ability to
dictate the pace of attraction. Let's take opportunity, for example. The
elusive opportunity in particular. We work at something we wish for. Be
it monetary, prestige, or nothing more than self-confidence. Unfortunately, at times, the work put in
doesn't yield the reward desired. It's one of the most frustrating things there
is. Solution? Stubborn belief. That belief in yourself. Expecting the results
before you even get there. That's the connective link in the law of attraction.
Make room for them. In order to get the opportunities you want, you must first
prepare yourself to receive them. As
far as you're concerned, it's already yours. Simply by knowing in your heart
that you will not be denied.

Poetry (The Bringer)
Savior
I
bring you no game,
I
bring you no blame,
I
bring you no fame,
I
bring you no name,
I
bring you the shame,
I
bring you the pain,
I
bring you an aim,
I
am the bringer of rain,
I
bring you a leader,
I
bring you a chief,
I
bring you a dealer,
I
bring you a thief,
I
bring you a vitamin,
I
bring you a mineral,
I
bring you a corporal,
I
bring you a general,
I
bring what you need,
I
bring not what you want,
I
bring the supplies,
That
allow you to hunt
I
bring you a difference maker,
Spread
word to your neighbor,
The
deal is for real,
I
bring you a savior.

Knowledge Drop (Value Measured)
The measure of value today is defined in many ways. Some use the
measure of money, power, or even physical appearance. On the shallow side of
things. The good looking and most attractive, receive the most leniency.
Economically, the one with the most zeros and commas is the biggest fish. Also,
the one who has the most influence and control is considered the “top shelf”,
if you will. However, the evidence of true value is measured in departure, over
the essence of presence. For instance. You don't know how devastating a
hurricane, until you see the carnage it left behind. You don't know how important
someone is to a team, until they leave. The old adage of, "you don't know
what you have until it's gone.” We see it in business. We see it
relationships. The applause is great when the performer reaches the stage at
the beginning. But true measure of appreciation is most evident in the ovation
given at the end. The importance of leaving a mark, cannot be stressed enough.
The effect that one may have on the many, can be astronomical. The fact
remains. What you are and bring, is significant. But what you leave behind, is
evident.
Poetry (You Call Me)
You call Me Master, but choose not to obey,
Read My words, but ignore what I say,
You call Me the truth, but choose not to speak Me,
Only in peril, do you decide to seek Me
You call Me the Way, but will not let Me lead you,
And rather hunger, than allow Me to feed you,
You call Me the Light, but choose not to see Me,
Until it is dark, you feel you do not need Me,
You call Me Life, but choose not to live Me,
And make your own interpretations, on what credit to give Me,
You call Me wise, but choose not to listen,
The number is countless, on the messages you are missing,
You call Me gracious, but choose not to trust Me,
And ignore the signs, of what the obvious must be,
You call Me mighty, but choose not to fear Me,
You take My name in vain, and do it sincerely,
You call Me noble, but choose not to serve Me,
And often prove, you do not deserve Me,
You call Me just, but openly shame Me,
So if I condemn, how can you blame Me?
Make no mistake, I am above you,
But despite all this truth, I still love you.

Poetry (Sometimes)
Sometimes
Sit
and wonder what life’s about. Sometimes.
Get
so angry just want to shout. Sometimes.
The
pursuit of happiness is a strange route. Sometimes.
Try
to believe, but have doubt. Sometimes.
Tired
of being the bigger person. Sometimes.
Prefer
solitude over conversing. Sometimes.
The
mind is known to play tricks. Sometimes.
Words
hurt more than stones and sticks. Sometimes.
The
past is hard to let go. Sometimes.
Can’t
stand being last to know. Sometimes.
The
lie sounds better than the truth. Sometimes
It’s
just not enough to have proof. Sometimes.
Simply just don’t have the nerve. Sometimes.
Get exactly what you deserve. Sometimes.
Have
to get it off the chest. Sometimes.
It’s
not enough just to do your best. Sometimes.
One
makes a pair. Sometimes.
The
pain is too much to bear. Sometimes.
Life
just simply isn’t fair. Sometimes.
Truth
be told, don’t really care. Sometimes.
Act
before you think. Sometimes.
It
can all happen in a blink. Sometimes.
Even
darkness blinds the hallways. Sometimes
But
sometimes, sometimes feels like an always.

Knowledge Drop (Embrace)
Who are you? It is
the rare question that is both, universal and personal. So naturally, the
answer is going to be subjective. The definition is yours to determine. One of
the biggest problems some face, is when they cannot answer it at all. And those
that cannot answer it, find themselves being led by a nature that really isn't
their own. Simply just not comfortable. Some change their voices, just to speak
to certain people. Some pretend they know about things, they really don't care
for. Some lie on their age, weight, accomplishments, or feel guilty about
certain interests they have. Depression and anxiety, are among the various
traits that contribute to a person's uneasiness when they know not who they
are. The only cure of such feelings is to embrace, you. Embrace your corks.
Your deficiencies. Never be ashamed of your strengths. Work on, but don't back
down from others noticing your weaknesses. Embrace your uniqueness. Once you
embrace what, you are not.
Only then will you realize exactly, who you are. Then suddenly, that skin
feels mighty comfortable.
